Y'all-we get some grovel! It's not as much as I would've liked, but I do love me a good grovel moment. Despite how much of a jerk Jeremy can be, he never allows Cecily to be anything other than her TRUE self. Does that stop me from loving it in my romance reads? Absolutely NOT. I love how NEXT LEVEL stalker Jeremy became. OBVIOUSLY we are in for lots of back and forth between these two (both in and out of the sheets, lol). She is kind and will often put the needs of her friends above her own. Although she is fiercely independent, she is also the mother-hen of her friend group. There is nothing particularly nice about his demeanor. A protective brother, but a ruthless leader. So far, we have seen Jeremy as violent yet cunning. In this particular story from the Legacy of Gods series, we get to learn more about Jeremy and Cecily.
